The theme for this year's One World One Heart is Magic Carpet Ride. It is all about getting to know your fellow bloggers. There are over 600 people signed up - Wow! The book I am reading now Hot, Flat and Crowded - wonderful book - environmental stuff, economics and politics -deals with the issue of globalization and OWOH is a beautiful example of the some of the best aspects of global technologically connected communities.
I will be giving away this necklace and earring set.
The pendant is a soldered glass microscope slide with layered transparency images from ARTchix Studio. It is on a long tan silky cord and has a found plastic bead dangle. The matching earrings are brown glass disc beads accented with bicone bead dangles. The image is of a 1950s woman, French script and a Venetian canal scene.
